Alright I have a really nice 302 roller motor out of my 90 GT. It is a factory forged motor and Is in great shape. The shortblock is fully disassembled. I have 300 dollars in machine work and prep alone. The motor had 128k miles on it when it was removed from my car, and you could still see the factory crosshatch in the cylinders, before it was redone. Lol. I pulled it due to it needing cam bearings. NEVER BURNED ANYTHING! The block was hot tanked, bored (standard bore 4.000), line honed, new cam bearings, new oil galley plugs, and new freeze plugs, then painted black. The crank was cleaned, checked for truness, then mic'ed and polished. The rods were, hot tanked, shot peened, the journals were honed then scaled. The pistons (factory trw's) were cleaned then scaled. The front cover, oil pan, and other misc parts were also hot tanked or cleaned. The motor is in beautiful shape and just needs assembled. Bearings, rings, an oil pump, and a cam and ur good to go. I want 350 obo. If you want pics text me at 513-292-3997 and I will send pics. My digital camera pooped out on me. But this is a nice lil motor, I'm just going to bigger and better things for now and its just taking up space... Thanks

That is what I was thinking, what is machined to run a stock bore. Did you have it decked or line bored or something? Sounds more like it was honed, not bored.

It had a lil ring ridge and he ran a stock bore stone through it and cleaned it up. It was taken like .002 over...
