View Full Version : Shuttle Landing

Channel 12 Meteorologist, Tim Hedrick, said we could possibly see the shuttle, as it passes over tuesday morning. He said it would pass over, around 7:20 AM. Hopefully, it will be clear enough to see it. We should also be able to hear the sonic boom.

I don't have any links to pass along, so if you get up just to see this and it doesn't happen, you didn't hear it from me!

hell yea thats about the time i get in my truck to leave for work... ill have to drive with the windows down on the way to work

I think I see it north. There is a vapor trail that's really moving.

Went by at about 7:10. It was really high and moving fast. Obvious it wasn't a jet.:coo1:

Maybe what I saw wasn't it then. If it was a jet it was the fastest I've ever seen go across the sky.

Neither of us saw it. Just heard on the radio it was delayed due to weather. Won't be coming back till 9. Won't be coming over us anymore. That was a fast jet I saw.

Well, poopie. There was a report of a meteor, around 6:30 AM.... I missed it too!

Weird. What I saw was above the commercial airliner contrails and moving very fast from north to south. Wonder what that was.:confused:

yea i stood in my driveway looking up or a good 20 mins prob looked like an idiot to all the neighbors...

good thing they all hate me:D
