Couple tranny ?'s

What type of auto trans comes in a 94 gt? Is it an AOD or AODE? Are the converters the same? Lastly when you manualy shift the trans do you have to pull the shifter back into low to lock in 2nd gear like a fox?

first yr in a stang for an aode ,has reg. 123 pattern on the shifter and has a button for overdrive. no slamback lol!
conv are diff., aod has direct lockup in 3 and 4 and the e uses a solenoid to apply the lockup clutch in the conv.

Don't manually shift the aode in that 94 unless you put a manual valvebody in it. You will only slow it down.
