well i am putting my windsor down in my 86, going to be carbed, my question is what type of dizzy should i run? I dont want to buy an MSD, i am going to have a MSD box, so looking for somthing i can splice and plug into my box? Any ideas, or any information available? Its a flat tappet cam, i am looking to buy the dizzy from an auto parts store

Good thing about the MSD distributor with MSD Box is it plugs right in
Go to autozone and get one from a 1982 F150 351w. It will have the iron gear for the hydraulic flat tappet cam. The MSD will hook up to it. That's what I'm running. MSD makes an adapter for this also. It is msd 8869. Here is a link...

Don't follow my above advise- I did not realize that by "windsor" you meant specifically the 351w. '82 f150 351 will be fine.
