I'm helping a friend of a friend with his car. 1996 Taurus v6. The car starts and runs great when cold. Drive 5-6 miles...turn car off. Car won't start unless you bleed off some pressure from the fuel lines.

Bad Regulator? I had that problem on an iroc, had to bleed the pressure off for it to start. Put a new reg on it and it was ok after that...

Fuel press with vac off is 24#

Also, car WILL NOT rev over 4k rpm. It acts like it is bouncing off the rev limiter.
