Does anyone around here sell it? Just curious on how much an entire setup would cost...and if anyone around here can tune it. Thanks...

You're out of your mind if you think $1200 is going to buy a BS3. You MAY be able to find just the box for that, but then you'd still have to buy all of the harnesses/sensors/extras. I've rarely seen a complete setup under 2 grand, and that's used. A new one would be well over 2 grand.

ive seen used ones for that and the last time i priced one i could get bs3 and injectors for 1700 or 1800 new. if he was smart he wouldnt buy that he would do a blo thru carb set up. or stick with the stock efi the cars not making major power to need big injectors so whats the point in it.. ive had 600rw with stock stuff. i also said 1200 or so key words i was throwing a # out there. sorry im not pro 5 0 of window shopping.

Calm down, I'm just saying that you're about a grand off. I'm not calling you names, saying I'm faster than you, threatening to kick your ass, etc.
Everybody is too on-edge around here.

I couldn't disagree more. I installed one right before I left to come over here, and it had more extra bs wiring and sensors, special distributor, just seemed like a waste for anything not requiring huge injectors. Hell, sct made 1100 hp on a ford GT with a mass air and stock electronics. It's just all in what you like and are comfortable tuning and using.

Hmm. Wow. Yea my buddy has one plug that goes thru his firewall, and only a few sensors...its just seems a lot simpler than a factory fuel injection setup...

well this was a brand new unit. I can only speak for it. It had a mess of wires we had to bundle and tuck. To me it had more clutter than a stock set up that had the wires hid and unnecesary wires removed. jmho. this one had the data logging capability as well.

What he said.
I got mine a couple years ago and was ~$1800 or so for complete setup.
If i had it to do over again though, i would have bought something that more local people are familiar with such as FAST XFI or DFI...

Get in touch with me next time you're going to be working on that thing. I'd like to get familiarized with the BS3 a little more.
