killed my rearend

Well im on my way home tonight and the rearend in the mustang starts to wine. I pulled into speedway and both rear wheels covered in rearend fluid.
I managed to get the car home so that saved me a tow bill. But this fucking sucks.:bangwall:

There's a good chance that a clogged/plugged/obstructed differential vent could have caused this. Pressure builds (since the vent is not working) as rearend heats up, pushing the gear oil out past the axle seals. Hope it isn't too bad off. Just make sure you give the vent a look-see before you drive it again. Yes that does suck man! Good luck with it.

Thats crazy... never seen that one... how many miles on that thing? '94 5.0 car has 228K and knock on wood, it's never done anything that crazy
