Exhaust questions...

I want to change the exhaust on my black '94 GT... I currently have stock headers, summit (or equivalent) H-pipe, and 2 chamber flowmasters... nothing else... no dumps or anything, and its loud, sounds pretty good, but as with any car, you hear dumps for about 4 years and you get tired of them quick.

I'm about to add some Mac shorties, and I would LIKE to put single chamber flowmasters on, and add tailpipes too... Anyone have a similar set up to this?

Should sound pretty good once I throw the cam in it.

I'd really like to hear a sound clip too!

I had some Brown Country 1 chambers for a while...or in other words 2 chambers cut in half..lol. They sounded mean with dumps but retarded and like a truck with tail pipes.

I think the true 1 chambers would sound better... Steves LX has them on his car with dumps and it sounds murderous... I could only imagine that kind of exhaust scream amplified/concentrated thru tailpipes

Man Jesse you should look into Mac Pro Dumps. I had them on the red 94 with a Mac Pro Chamber and BBK shorties and it sounded soooooooo good. Who needs tail pipes anyway? lol I wish I had a video of that car. Only have vids of my vert and the 99.

The next day i blew the head gasket. If you look after that last rev it spews out some white smoke...i think that was when it actually went or started to go.

I like Magnaflow. Ive had like 4 sets. Quiet at idle and cruising, loud when you rip on it. Also get the FMS stainless shorties. They are 20x better than mac.

I went from dumped flows to the Magnapack and I love it. You can hear yourself think, carry on a conversation, pretty much what ever you want.
Its a nice growl down low and it screams higher up. I will never go back to flows.

anyone onhere have slp loud mouths? i want to put magnapacks on my fox but don't think they have a bolt on. i want to get 3inch. i have mac flow paths with the tail pipes cut i want to get tail pipes with great sound ay info like if sn95 magnapacks fit on a fox will be greatly appreciated

I think the Mac sound awesome with tail pipes...they're my 2nd favorite exhaust for a 5.0. I think the SN95 should fit but all i have to go on is i've used '94+ tail pipes on my '85 before.
