I have seen a 01 that was NPI, being interceptor I would thnk the same. That doesn't mean much, Crown vic's and f150's are the most mix matched vehicles int he ford line up.

Not real sure on how to tell the difference I was told it was a pi.if you tell me how to check ill find out for you.

Read the numbers on the heads, they tell all. The intake on the PI is considerably taller (back behind the alternator) and requires a coolant tube that is bent. If the alternator is off get a picture of the bottom of the intake and I can identify it.
