84 coupe was originally a 4cyl car. Has 108k miles
302
289 heads off of a 65 mustang
Holley 650 CFM carb
Holley Mechanical fuel pump
BBK shortys
flowmaster mufflers
C4 trans with a 164 tooth flywheel
Hughes 2500 stall
8.8 rear end with a 3.55 gear
4cyl springs out back
lakewood 90/10's up front
frame ties

the bad:
needs a carb, it starts up and runs but spits and sputters and dies out

interior is out, previous owner was gonna put a roll cage in it so the interior is out, i have all the pieces but the headliner..

its in really good shape, no rust, paint isnt scratched or chipped

There is no way that the carb needs replaced. I have had 3 different carbs on that car. The car ran like a dream untill i filled up the gas tank. Then my troubles began, After i went through swapping carbs i pulled the tank to find about 2lbs of rust and crud in the bottom of the tank, i cleaned it out replaced the 2 filters and cleaned the holley carb thats on it now and replaced the fuel pump, i thought i had it taken care of untill you said it broke down on you on your way home, there has to be some crap in the fuel lines or something.

hmm...ill have to check that out...it starts up fine but stutters out when u give it gas....and almost completely stalled out on the way home so im not sure...it could just be something in the fuel line

The last time i did all that i drove it 15-20 miles with no problems thats why i thougt it was good to go. Might have had enough crap in the lines to clog the new fuel filters up.

alright guys....2500 firm!!....how it sits....when i get around to gettin it fixed to where its completely driveable the price is gonna go back up...it does start and run...it just spits and sputters when u drive it....interior is also still out of it...this thing is pretty nice for what it is...
