I just wanted to say thanks to all the guys and gals that came out to the Race day today At E20. The weather held out for us, and we all had a great time. To bad I broke my car the day before, but in a way it was good. I was able to enjoy the day and really get to talk to everyone this time. Even with it being over cast all day, the track seemed to be hooking pretty darn good, plus they sprayed it may times though out the day. E20 seems to treat us right!!
The rain date did shed a couple of racers, but it was still a GREAT sucess.
We were able to raise just over $900 for New Perception ( http://www.newperceptions.org/) this time around. They Help kids 0-3yrs old and adults with special needs and can use ever penny they can get to help these people out. My Son Preston, who is 5 now, received services from them from the time he was 15 month old to 3 yrs old. They became like family to us and even today, we have one of his orginal therapist still coming out to the house to work with him a weekly basis.
THANKS AGAIN to everyone that came out, and remember, we are going to do a fall event too and hope to get about 50 to 60 cars out. I just hope to have mine back together by then. I will keep you all posted though... till next time...................
