This has been kinda bugging me a bit. I got to the cruise in a little before noon and left at almost 3 or maybe even a little after. I seen Kevin(dedpedal) there and that really caught me off guard. Beefcake, mista bones, popsfun, and that was really about it. I understand bla bla rain and bla bla. I don't get where everyone was? Where was Holly? Craig? Timido?chad393? Mike Bell. Well I think he was getting married. Who planned a cruise in on a day that all the old school guy couldn't make it? No Jimsvt,jason408,no Freaking Ken B. Help me understand why the no shows?

I put it on, but I could not be there due to another event... It just happened that way, can't tell you about anyone else not showing up. I am pretty sure KenB moved away for his new job.

I was there, but it was a sad showing. The weather and track rental had a big effect on it I hope.

Steve and I talked about how it just felt much different.....

Can we take a mulligan and do it over on another day???

I'd be all for trying again on the rain out day. For me it doesn't help that my car is down, but i would've come in my Festiva if i had known it wasn't going to rain until late in the day.

Ken moved to Florida, but he was actually in Atco for the NMRA race.

I completely forgot about the cruise. I got home around 1:30am from the track and slept until almost noon.

I'm pretty sure Jason408 was racing at either Ohio Valley or London Saturday night, so that's probably where those guys were.

wait until you're 45 and hear people in their 30's refer to themselves as old people. LOL!!!!

PS: I'd go for a redo on the cruise-in as well for what it's worth. Its always a good tiem when you get a bunch of mustang owners together.

I think a REDO would be great. Just as long as mother nature isn't her bitch self again.

Mr.Moontang
05-19-2010, 10:14 PM
There will be NO "redo" sorry that was our date!!! You will have to wait until the fall cruise... Or you could maybe go to one of the weekly cruise-in's, just an idea.

I have a lot going on in my life right now, and I just couldn't make it, flat out. I'm not going to make excuses, I should have been there, but right now, I have OTHER things going on that are more important than Stangbangerz. Keeping up with two jobs is kicking my ass too.

Hope we have a good Fall Cruise In, we need to pick a date. Scott, any ideas? Every weekend is good for me except the first weekend in October.

Suggestion for fall cruise date, make sure Bengals are playing away :)

Ms. Holly, if you need help with stuff like yard work and what not, just ask.

Ms. Holly, if you need help with stuff like yard work and what not, just ask.

Thanks - but the yard is one thing I have under control, thanks to Kenny (Fordfan). He lent me his riding lawnmower and it's helped me TREMENDOUSLY. It was taking me over an hour to push mow, and with the humidity we have had, it sucked. I can mow my whole yard in about 20 minutes right now.

It's more personal stuff I have going on. A friend of mine suddenly got custody of his 9 month old baby girl, and I'm helping with her every weekend (my choice, I'm kinda attached to the little sweety). Her mom is gone for 2 years so me and some other friends have been helping him out as much as possible.

Thanks for the offer Bone! My yard looks good for a change. House for power washed last weekend, along with the deck and driveway, and my garage is fairly clean. Still have a lot of stuff to get rid of in there, but I'm not ready to jump into that yet, unless I get an offer on my house (it's for sale, I want a condo).

Hope to see everyone at Edgewater some Friday evening. I'm heading up to the Montgomery County Fair next Saturday night to watch some bike racing with my buddies.
