Hey guys, my head gaskets will be here on thursday so I'm going to be starting on the top end of the motor this weekend. The part I'm not completely comfortable with is the rocker arm install and the pattern that should be showing up on the tip of the valves. I know the pushrods have already been spec'd out, but I don't think it hurts to check once I have everything together.

If anyone has experience and wouldn't mind helping out, I'd greatly appreciate it. I'd of course supply the food/beer/whatever you need.

I'm located near Hyde Park/Oakley. I will be out there working on the car on saturday till 3 and hopefully all day sunday.

Also, if anyone has some kind of "mount" to mount to the lower of a TFS R intake that I can borrow to attach to the engine hoist to get the motor in that I can borrow or rent, that would be awesome as well.

Thanks guys!

Found this article and thought it might help you out. I read this some months ago and it was very informative. The proces is very clear IMO.

Hope this helps you out. It was in the Windsor section under measuring for push rods.

Sorry we couldn't finish the dial in due to the sep plate interference problem. Let me know when you are ready to go at it again James. THe engine is looking very good. I am very jealous, also happy for you. Hope to see it run like a scalded hound when it's done. Thanks for letting me help out a bit. Appreciate the opportunity to get some practical hands on.

Thanks Chad, I appreciate it. I'm going to try and find a stock aluminum bellhousing for now and I'll just bolt that straight up if I do find one. Thanks for stopping out today.

Thanks for the link Rick, I'll give it a try.
