Im doing another auction like before but with a little more modern Iron. Changes in washington and the FMC have tightened guidelines for GVW's of truck/trailer combos used for interstate commerce/business use. These guidelines have obsoleted this truck from my fleet as it is forcing me to hit scales, fill out log books, and get DOT registered since this combo with one of my trailers puts me over 14k lbs Combined GVW.

All that said up for sale/auction is an 2009 Chevy silverado 2500. This truck was purchased new by us last summer. It currently has 25,xxx miles on it. It is the 6.0 gas motor with the 6spd auto trans. LT trim. It is 4x4. It has power everything, onstar and satelite radio, though the satelite radio and onstar have lapsed subscriptions. Factory tow package. This truck has been well maintained and was based out of Ga/Fl until March (Salt Free). Though it is fridge white it is very well optioned and is a comfortable truck. This truck has a bedliner and the body is in excellent condition. It is dirty in the pics.

Balance of remaining factory warranty.

NADA says $34,000 retail.

Bidding to start @$20,000.

Clean Ohio title in Hand.

May take trade for late model (07+)cargo van(s) with bin packages. Ford Chevy, or sprinters.

Pm me with questions/bids.

Thanks for looking.

.Pics didn't post, sorry can text them to interested parties. Truck is 6.5 ft bed crew cab. It does have carpet interior with seating for 5 since it has the full length front console.

it's not like its a heavy ass 4 door diesel dually. what other options do you have to go lighter and not have to hit the scales, but still be able to tow the same shit? just curious

We switched to aluminum trailers (not cheap) and trimmed out the high gvw trucks. DOT says any single vehicle over 10,000lbs gvw or combo over 14klbs gvw gets scaled registered limited to 10 hr days and is required to maintain logbooks. This only applies to businesses not personnel vehicles. It has nothing to do with your actual weight, just your gvw's, you'll never scale over. Its a load of bs. Many single wheel one tons are over that, and pretty much every dually on the road. We only have 7k lb gvw trailers so our total combo was 16k. After getting slapped with a 5,000 fine in texas we learned of the law.

Landscapers beware. Even if its titled to you personally a business logo instantly quantifies it for business use.
