wiring up a 70's 302

i am running a derby car this year.im sick and tired of all these guys running chevy motors and winning and saying chevy is the only good motor.well i need help wiring up the ignition.it has the stock distributor w/i think 3 wires.if anyone is free this weekend or next week and can come and help me show hoe to wire it up i would appreciate it.lmk.

Duraspark distributor + duraspark box + duraspark coil plug + fuel/air/spark = run :lol:

Buddy put a 351 in an Rx7... There are wiring diagrams allllll over the internet for duraspark wiring.

yeah i have all the above but still have the 3 wires??dont know which is which??

Another alternative is to run a GM HEI module instead of the Duraspark but the end result is the same thing and they're priced about the same.

For the ballast resistor, go to autozone (preferably to an older guy) and tell him you just need a ballast resistor for an old Chrysler...he'll know what you're talking about. They're like $7 or something.

Oh, if you wanna look into the HEI module instead...you won't need a resistor for that setup. I had my 347 running off one of these for a short while and it ran like a top. Modules are about $17 from the 'zone. http://www.carbdford.com/tech/HEI/hei.htm

yeah thats what i thought.lol.i literally need someone that has knowledge on the wiring on these and come over and help if they can.i cant get it running.i can throw a couple bucks or have some beer and music ready.it is all ready to be wired up.lmk.
