Has anyone ever attempted to fix? If you havent you should try..... I'd been driving around with mine that way for the past 4 years just waiting to find a nice replacement for it.... well had a buddy over last night and he'd driven my car over the weekend and complained about the lean so we yanked the seat back out and I was surprised how easy it was to tear apart.... three welds and my seat is good as new.... If I'd known it was that easy I'd done it 4 years ago.......

This seems to be a problem that has gone away oddly enough. It used to be such a problem that there was a write-up on how to take them apart and weld/reinforce them.

How about just lean to the other side, that should even it out....

You know whats funny about that the ghetto lean... The seats in my coupe are broke the opposite side... its sooo weird to sit in the seat... I'm glad they are just junk LX seats and I have a set of red halo GT seats for it

im welded my old ones but then they tore at the other side of the weld. i would say you have to put a plate in them but not really sure. you can buy the frame from ford for like 60 bucks.
