I used to have an RC10GT and i played around with mounting different truck bodies on it. This one is a Crowd Pleaser body for a HPI Savage/Nitro GT1 monster truck but if you're creative with your mounts you can put it on just about anything (having a monster truck body on a stadium truck for example). It took me forever to mask off and tape the 2 layers of flames, then i cut out all the details in the decals...it was a PITA but turned out awesome. I didn't use it very long so it's still in great shape. I used Tamiya paints and the white has a silver metallic sparkle to it.

The body itself is $35 new...and if you've ever looked into having a body custom painted, you know it gets expensive quick. I figure it's a smokin deal if you have a Savage or some other truck you wanna try to mount it on.

$30

I think he sold them to James.

By the way if there's any RC guys on here i'd be interested in doing custom paint jobs...

I'm not sure about Clay's...probably kept those. To be honest it didn't fit the stadium truck very well and i had to make custom body mounts to make it work...it would really be better for a monster truck. Then again, i did have a first generation RC10GT which has a shorter wheel base than the newer trucks...that was the biggest issue was a slight difference in wheel base. Also the body now has a hole in the windshield for cooling and body mount holes cut and a hole in the bed for the engine to poke through.

Man looking at these pics makes me really miss it. You can't imagine what a PITA it was to cut out those window net holes lol. The decals where all black between the netting and looked real flat and fake. I had planned on tinting the windows but never got around to it.
