Wow....I wasn't expecting the traps to be that low. Sorry, not trying to be a dick. I thought they were doing 117 with intake/exhaust??

i think around 112 is what some of the stick cars have seen,

that was off the street, no cool down, in 80 degree heat,

i was pretty happy with that,

corrected for altitude, thats 12.88@110.5

Squale iii
06-20-2010, 10:33 PM
true, it was pretty hot today.

beefcake

true, it was pretty hot today.

stick cars are always gonna trap a little more due to drivetrain losses anyway,

that is until you start throwing a converter and stuff in to get some better launches

lol, this thing screams for nitrous lol

not sure how turbos and s/c's will respond with the high compression

Beef, the new 5.0 has similar weight/horsepower as the Terminator. How does the N/A 5.0 compared to the F/I Terminator when you hit the loud pedal? I'm thinking it doesn't hit as hard initially as the Terminator, but pulls harder above 3000 rpm?

mines an auto, so tough comparison,

initial hit is a bit slow with the auto, think that'll probably be able to be tuned out.

i did some kickdowns on the highway, sick, sick, sick!

auto car

Thats what I am talkin about beef. If I was to buy an 05+ it would be an auto and throw a little Whipple on her. That car will be a blast in an auto.
