View Full Version : 2005 suzuki gsxr 1000
My last post got way out of hand with things that had nothing to do with the bike. Sorry for that. So here is is one more time.
2005 Suzuki gsxr 1000. Some of you have seen it and know its in spotless condition. Tons of power and one of the best bikes you will own. Has been jetted has a full exhaust with header. Power commander 3 with disc and usb cord. Custom parts that say gsxr on them (chrome chain guard) S heal guards. GSXR and carbon fiber rear tire hugger. Few other things. Has rear seat cowl and I have the rear seat too. Had a new tire put on this past December and I replaced the rear tire (200) just a couple of months ago. Miles are 10344ish and I am the second owner. This bike has never been down or dropped. I dint let the daughter play by it and I dont let people stand around it while its in the garage. It not been stunted nor have I ever done a burnout. I dont know how to do much of anything good but go in a straight line. I dont know how to do a wheelie or anything of the other stuff and I never wanted to try it or learn. I take care of the bike and give it a lot of respect. it books for @ 6500 stock.
I would like to trade for something fun. My arthritis gets to be a pain in my foot and I cant ride it as much as I like to anymore. I will trade for a nice fox I like coups too. It needs to be nice though. Will also trade for other mustangs as well. If you have a trade other than a mustang let me know. I prefer a stick. Something that can be used as a D/D is best. The heater is still in my buddies notch and works perfect along with the power windows. Just no ac. He also asked how much cash you could put with the bike to even up the trade?

what do you mean been jetted? these bikes are fuel injected. they get tuned by the power commander 3.

I couldnt even begin to work on that thing. I dont have any idea how to do that kind of stuff.

That is my cobra for sale. I close on the new shop soon. If it sells before closing, Ill just look for another later. If I dont sell it ill just keep it.

I know. I am just entertaining myself. It gets bumped and within half hour 30 or so people look at it to see if I dropped my pants on it. I am not going to lower it from 6000. Thats what its worth and I am not giving it away. I have had luck with the add but it was things that were either race cars or high mile things. The add will go away very soon though and you wont be able to look at it anymore. lol

I acually love the bike. Thats why I have been so picky on getting rid of it. Its one of the best bikes I have had. I just would like to have a fast loud car again.
please delete add. I am going to keep it and raise it up with a 12 inch lift, put some chrome bars on it and a set of 32 inch spinners. Be the first donk gsxr.

Nobody on here wants a bike that bad man.Not saying its not worth the money but just not a big bike crowd here.Plus the market isnt supporting these prices. I see liter bikes selling at work between $3000-3500 granted it is an auction but those buyers are bringing them back the next month to resale thru us and hope they dont take a loss because they cant sell em either. Biggest seller is a 883 sportster and they sell everyone the buy.
I feel your pain man. I wish I could sell mine because there have been some bad Busas and 14s come thru Id love to have not to mention the Ducati's. Keep it ride it enjoy it and the market will come back then sell it

I with ya. I have the the other bike too. The market took a HUGE shit on a lot of bikes. A year ago this thing would have been gone. I have a few trades I am looking at and I will go from there. Im not mad. Its a cool bike and if I have to keep it thats great. Ive had worse.lol I mainly was trying to get to 2000 views on it then I was going to delete the add. I forgot about the other add I had so i have passed the 2000 view mark so its time for it to leave here and make room for things that will sell.

Well I think this is getting traded for a so far pretty nice looking well maintained somewhat custom..... 1979 jeep cj-5. Has a 360 in it. well see. I dropped the price to 5500 but i think I am going to go with the jeep. Unless 5500 is handed to me before i go see the jeep.
