Looking to trade for a truck and can put up cash on my end as well! I've gotta find a daily driver ASAP.

1989 Mustang GT
-Black w/ Smoke Gray interior
-5 speed car
-No motor or trans
-98% rust free. The only spot of rust on the car is under the brake lines on the driver side shock tower which is about the size of a dime. Hatch, doors, quarters, fenders, floors, rockers surprisingly clean for this car.
-NO title. Being sold as a parts car or a race car at this point. I am in contact with the seller and do have a bill of sale, but have not been able to get the seller to provide a title. It was lost and he is working on getting one but I need a car ASAP.
-Driveshaft safety loop and subframe connectors
-8.8 with a rebuilt diff and 3.55 gears from what I was told
-Aftermarket fuel lines from tank to front, was carbed at one point, but still have EFI harness
-Car is complete less motor, trans and driveshaft. Everything else is there
-Pony wheels with junk tires
-Sunroof car
-Has a 6 point cage but is not a good cage. Would be best to remove. Welds are terrible.
-Catback exhaust with GT turn down tailpipes
-Interior is complete save for rear seats and rear carpet

I bought this car to drop a 5.0, 5 speed in but without being able to get a title and not having the time to work on the car I need to find a daily driver ASAP. Let me know what you have.

Best way to reach me is on my cell at 513-315-6583.

If its a ohio title and he lives in ohio all he has to do is go to the title office and file for a lost title. They will give him the replacement title right there on the spot. I had to do this a couple years back. Just tryin to help ya out considering itll probably be worth more with the title.

He lives in Kentucky and the title is a Kentucky title, but it's almost the same process. The only difference is that they mail him the title. I've told him I would meet him at any BMV he wants and pay the $8 fee just to get the process going. All I've heard is that "I'm working on it".

I don't know if there is more to the story or what, like if he can't go to the BMV for some reason, but I've contacted him 3 times now recently with no response. Looks like I'm going to have to part it out.

His mom has even told me that she has a copy of the title and it's in his name, so it's not like the car isn't his unless he lost it in his divorce or something.

I would also take $600 for the car as it sits.

Yeah, KY mails it to you and you usually get it within a couple weeks. Sounds like a big mess. Good luck with it man.

Psych, please keep this open lol.

I may have a title on the way for the car and if I do, I'm going to sell the car whole.

The car will need a complete motor, trans, EFI tank (has modified stock tank in car for a carb, not sure if it can be modded back for EFI) and fuel lines and it will be driveable. Car would bring some decent money I think, running and driving. Would make a great short term project.
