Pre Announcement- Parting out my Turbo Car

I don't have an inventory of all parts yet but because of the clusterfuck it has been to get my car running - I'm done with it. It's been sitting at the current shop it's at for over a year.

I'm posting this to let people know that in a few days I'll be posting a real FS listing with everything.

Those who are familiar with the build can get a hold of me sooner if they want dibs on something.

All of the parts I will be selling (unless otherwise noted) will have 80 miles on them. That's how many miles I went before imploding my TQC and had to get new guts.

The gist of the build is the 70mm Master Power turbo journal bearing, Trickflow heads with scorpion rockers and port and polish job, trickflow upper that has been ported and trickflow lower.
The block is a stock casting block with a stock crank but has 10:1 Diamond brand pistons and ARP brand connecting rods and hardware. The bottom end is broke in but just barely. It also is blueprinted.
The tranny is a worked C4 with a brand new custom PTC converter tweaked by Dirtydog and a pistol grip shifter.

All the support will be for sale as well and also the shell.

Was that recent, like within the past few days? The car was up at that Set A Part shop for a while. I've driven past it many times and seen it there.

The hot side is all custom but based off a solid design. I'll send pics soon.

What radiator/fan are you running on this?

Stock...LOL Stock rad, for the dyno tune and 80 miles I ran it, it kept it cool. It has a electric fan on a switch that I just simply leave on if the engine is running. It has no problem getting up to temp lol.

Hmm...well, what rear suspension are you running? Rear end gear?

So why not just get some free help and fix it. I know you had kelly shot well helping you for awhile so I'd imagine all it needs is someone who knows something to look at it. I hate to see guys get frustrated and part out their cars. Its a bad idea. Let me know if you may wanna consider trying to get it out. I'd be more than willing to help

What is left to do on the car? Hate to see you sell it I know you have put allot of hard work in and gone through a bunch of crap trying to get it going.

I'm in between a rock and hard place.

Here is what I decided to do:
I got word yesterday that the car is much further along than I thought.
I'm going to commit to getting it running and driving.
Then I'm going to get it Dyno'd again.
If it makes bullshit power than I'm done with it, I'm not gonna spend $300 tuning it again.

I have a ball park in my head what I want for it - no matter what I do I'm going to lose my ass on it but I would much rather sell it whole than part it out...some sort of emotional thing lol.

So, depending on what is going on with it here in a few days when she runs will determine my next course of action.

I have a word document of everything people have indicated interest in and if I do part out, the dibs will go to them and so on.

Just so everyone knows, the number I have in my head is around 9k. I feel like thats fair considering the 15k in parts receipts and about ~2.5k in labor + the original investment of $5k for the car. What do NON INTERESTED BUYERS have to say about my number? (lol)
