I've been fighting with idle issues with my Dragon Throttle Body on my 03 Cobra. Since the first time I installed the unit I have sent it back 4 times for the same problem. Everytime it has gotten better but not right. The problems I'm facing is that at high rpm driving to off the gas the car just dies which sucks at the track when I'm traveling 120mph. It seems as though the computer can not correct. Now a new problem is that Adam at Cincy Speed can not smooth out the A/F ratio and say that driveability is not very good which I've notice through the fact the car surges or even dies when not up to temp. I'm bit confused on what is going on and wonder if anyone can give me some more insight on what could be going on.

The problem is the TB won't return to the same position ever and it is haning up so we can't get the idle down. Return the throttle body, put the stock one or a accufab on it, and I will retune the car. You are dealing with way too many problems over a throttle body that didn't gain you any power...:bigthumb

Well unfortunately I went to place the stock one back on and since I have a Stage V+ the hole opening has been increased for a ported Dragon Plenum. The Stock TB Plenum is now too small to even cover up the supercharger plenum hole. Stephan @ Dragon replaced it with a Brass Blade which replaced the Aluminum blade to reducing the sticking issue. I'm still getting sticking since the blade is allowing too much air to go by and I reduce down the screw to hopefully reduce some of the opening around the blade when it goes in the initial position. I removed the plug on the idle control motor and with the A/C on it idles down to 750 and with it off it goes down to about 900rpm. I can force it below that but the blade needs some fine tuning to not allow hardly and light through like the stock unit.
