I think Salt Lake City just about has it right for weather. The highs out there right now are around 90 with a dew point of about 50.

I laugh a little at the whole global warming thing. I understand that it is a problem but if you look at the records that are reported everyday on the news. they tell us as an example: "Aug 4 1933 it was 105*" and I set and think... Damn was it global warming back then too?

What some people don't remember is that they used to a long time ago grow orange groves. but as the cycle of tempetures change, the only place right now that you can grow them is in the southern states.

That right there hits the nail on the head. Global warming was the worst possible thing to call it. A 2 or 3 degree change in ocean temperature may not feel like much but it is enough to create the scenario mentioned.

ok....in ohio.....there used to farmers around here that grew oranges. (Yes oranges were not always just in Florida and other southern states) The tempetures started to cycle to a colder climates and then they couldn't grow them anymore. My grandmother talks about it all the time, thats the only reason I know. Yes..., she is OLD! (94)
