OK you fluid dynamics experts....which provides the best method of cooling when using a separate oil cooler ahead of your radiator:

a) Leaving a gap between the oil cooler and the radiator

b) Sandwiching the cooler diorectly against the radiator

I'm sure he's got a radiator fan on the engine side of the radiator...

c) mounted elsewhere with it's own fan.

That way in cooler weather you can leave the fan off so it doesn't take forever for oil temps to come up.

and if c isn't an option I would think that sandwiched together would provide the best airflow for all parts involved.

Leave a gap of at least 1 inch. if you need help with hard lines let me know.
