I have a problem with my dash lights and turn signals. They don't work is the problem. I had this same problem with my last car and I am building another car from a shell and most of the parts from my last one. The shell I got had wiring in it that is good, my last car had alot of wiring problems so I was glad I didn't have to use those harnesses. So I know all the wiring under the dash is good but yet I still have the same no dash lights/turn signals as I had with the last car. So my question is what would cause this condition in an 88 fox body?? I carried over alot of sensors and switches from the last car, so Im thinking its one of them.

Check the turn signal switch or the headlight switch. has to be one of them. Are you using the same steering column?

different headlight switch, works good. Ill try a different turn signal switch but the wiper function of the switch works good? What about the gauge cluster dimmer switch?? Or any fuses of relays I should be checking?

Scratch the thing about the foot courtesy lights, got them to turn off. Everything else remains the same. The blinkers will work when the hazards are on but that's it.. Also tried a different turn signal switch and either I got 2 broken ones of that's not the problem

The root is in the ign switch, i just don't know what the wire colors are. Do you have and extra ign switch?

I got dash lights and turn signals. I had what looks to be a newer style dimmer switch. Switched it out for one of the older style switched and they work. Still don't have working map light or overhead courtesy light but at least I can drive with out those.

I've got a similar issue. My turn signals light up but do not blink. The column doesn't click like it should either. Any ideas on this. Mines an 86 if that makes a difference.
