ive got an o2 gt 5spd with some sort of spark problem i thought it was failing cops but i tested the ones on bank 1(pass side) and there is adequate spark coming out of each boot(about 1 inch and bright blue). On Bank 2(drivers side) all cops were barely even flashing. i switched the pass side cops that i knew were good to the drivers side and it did the same thing, just barely flashed. the car runs fine now but it did have a random misfire occasionally at idle and would start breaking up around 4k and clear up around 5500. anyone have any ideas what could be causing this. I know its just a matter of time before it starts acting up again. it hasnt thrown any codes at all. i have the following mods. bbk cai, c&l plenum, 75mm tbody,373s, diablo predator tune, im running autolite 103 plugs gapped at .054, i went one step colder for the zex wet kit that i havnt used yet due to the weak spark problem.

check and make sure the ground is hooked up from the harness to the bolt on fuel rail. This is the ground for the harness it's self. Also check the ground on the body to the motor mount. I found mine was not making good contact. If your still having the problem I would look and make sure that it has a good connection at the firewall.
Did you wash the engine off or anything lateley? When did the problem start?

that makes sense, i had the intake swapped out due to me being clumsy and snaping the water neck off the rear of the intake changing plugs, ill check that out, is the ground on the front or rear of the fuel rail? Does each side of the harness have a ground or is there just one for the whole harness? thanks for the help this is driving me nuts!

Just one. it's in the back behind near the EGR. Yeah this is the only thing that I can think of off the top of my head.

checked it and its connected the way its supposed to be, i checked the firewall connection and its good. the car is running fine now, i think there might have been some antifreeze on some connections or something, or the ecu is acting up.

I know its not on your list but does the car have under drive pullies on it. I have seen under drive crank pullies mess with the spark on this car. And just a piece of info for you. I have a zex wet kit on my 04 and running NGK 4177and they are gapped a .035.
