So ok im in flagway in hillsboro yesterday, im waiting in line to talk to my mother and theres a guy in front of me. Now im just there to get a pop and tell her the good news about my wifes dr's appointment about our baby. So my mother asks the guy after he said he had diesel if he had the $110 and the $41. The fat ass is over there getting some hershey 5 of em which he did not need and he starts cursing at her and yelling for no good reason. But then when she gets upset and walks out the guy has a shocked look on his face like what did he do wrong.
So at this point im ready to hit him, but hey i remember ive got my wife to worry about and she has no way to get to the hospital if im locked up so i look the guy straight in the eyes and tell him hes a bitch but he wont say nothing to me, when i walk back to talk to my mother and see how shes doing after being treated like an abused animal he starts in on yet another female but wont say a word to and man in the place that said anything to him.
I just dont understand how you can get that mad and speak to that way to anyone when they asked you a simple question, all it would have taken was a no but since my mom has had to tell him his checks were no good before he thinks he can act like a douchebag because he didn't have the money in the bank before?
Sorry i just had to vent a little i just want to know when we stopped treating others with respect and we stopped caring about others in our own community

Thats sad to hear and i commend you for not knocking his ass out. I know had it been my mother i might not have contained myself. Sadly people are so cought up in there own lives they care for no one but only for themselves. I'm sure this loser thought that no matter what he said no one would test him and when you did he had to go off on someone he knew might not be so successfull in taking his fat ass out.

I wonder my self, it seems like everyday people get more and more disrespectful and rude. A lot of people now days have very little if any respect / manners and all they care about is them selves. What can you do!

Hold a door open for an older lady?
Let someone safely out onto road like Beechmont Ave.?
Yep, I'm only 43 but do have respect of others. Sadly most everyone else is all about "me"....which because of it and the other driver having a case of road rage I'm having to see a lawyer at 1 PM.

It's the "It's all about me" sindrome that every douche bag has these days.

My folks had auction a few years back and the weather was horrible so we were parking cars across the street and giving folks a ride since it was back a long lane . We had one guy who was being a lil bitch about it and asked if he could look at the stuff in the auction we agreed but told him if he was staying we would go park his truck . After about 25 minutes I hear him talking smack about parking across the road and I let him know if he dont like it he can leave .I offer to go park his truck and he accepts . Well another 20 minutes goes by and he is now giving my mother a bunch of shit and she is trying to keep cool as she does not want me to notice but father all ready has . My father carefully explained that this would not be a good route to take and he should apologize to my mother as we could not help it rained close to 2 inches overnight . He walks away then comes back and starts again this time my brother notices and gets my attention . I go over and tap the guy on the shoulder and tell him that he should leave he plays it cool and tells me to calm down . I tell him if he talks to my mother like that again he may have to crawl down the lane or possibly be transported in a van with pretty lights on the top . He starts getting huffy with me and I give him a little kiss on the cheek and whisper in his hear that I am no longer going to play nice and to leave . He gets all freaked out and practically runs down the driveway . The auctioneer is a old Omish type fellow and says son I have never seen that move before and not sure I would go that route but it was very effective and quite funny.

To me this isn't even manners, that's disrespect. I wasn't raised by old fashioned parents but i was raised to treat women with a higher level of respect than i would treat men that i respect...so to me that's like a double negative and calls for a double tap from my right fist especially being my mother he's talking to.
If there's one thing i try harder than anything to teach my son, it's to be respectful and to have good manners. He chews with his mouth shut, he says may i and please and thank you, excuse me etc.
I think the age of common courtesy and chivalry are all but dead. I've stopped to help strangers change flat tires and they look at you like you're insane. A few weeks ago i practically had to chase this girl and her 3 kids and almost run them off the damn road to tell her that her brake lights weren't working AT ALL. I must have looked insane, and i kind of understand why she was hesitant to stop, but damn i couldn't just not say anything knowing she had no brake lights, who knows what could have happened. Maybe just a ticket, maybe rear ended by a semi.

man no kidding.
walking out of jcpenny's in florence over the weekend this lady was a little farther back from exiting, but it was obvious she was after us. I always look back to see if somebody is coming out behind me, I'll hold the door for them, just because....well thats the way I was raised from day 1. You would have thought I gave her a million dollars. She of course stereotyped me and said "id not have thought a young man with a hat on backwards, earings in his ears and baggy shorts would have held a door for an old lady".

Man that is too funny! I used that trick in front of my friends when we were at Crudfest (Cruisefest) back when they had it in Chillicothe. We had a solar shower set up and some dude though it was a port a jon and told his old lady to go crap in it and I politely asked her to not go in there that it was a shower and the guy started trying to get all hard on us so I got crappy with him and he said he was going to bring all of his friends back to kick some butt. Well when he came back he had about 11 guys with him and there was four of us. One of his friends asked what the problem was and I told him that it wasn't a bathroom it was an outdoor shower well the dude started mouthing off again and I got in his face and quietly said you leave now or i will proceed to rip your head off and shove it straight up your penis hole so you can look at the sky through your neck. He jumped at me and i grabbed him by both sides of his face and gave him a big old fat kiss on his lips and threw him to the ground. Dude and his friends ran off and got security little did they know that my best friends uncle is Darryl who runs the show lol.

I was going into a store not long ago about 20 feet from the door when a dad and his 5-6 yr son were coming out. The kid held the door for me. I looked at his dad and smiled, he was just as proud!
Good to some parents are still trying to raise their kids right.

I hold the door open for people every chance I get, I get a thank you from about 60% of them. It doesn't really bother me when people don't thank me as I'm not doing it for self satisfaction, it definitely makes it nice when someone does appreciate it though.

I hold doors for people whenever i can.
I will say this though...if i'm 20 feet away, don't hold the door for me. Thank you, i appreciate the gesture, but you're just making me walk faster to accept the offer
