Elaine Larson crash at NMRA Columbus

Just heard Elaine Larson crashed the jet powered car into the wall at Columbus. Said she was ok but the car is destroyed.

It was probably right around 1:30 or a little later. A friend of mine told me about it since Im at home trying to get my junk together.

It was pretty crazy...She went through the traps at 270.

We couldn't even tell that she wrecked at first. I guess the heavy winds today grabbed her 'chute and put her into the wall? :(

yeah as soon as she went through the traps it just went sideways out of nowhere.was kool to see it go 5.50 at 270 though...glad she ended up being ok after all that

Thats all that matters. It dont say enough about the testing those cars go through. Im sure she`s thankful.
