I would like to run braided hoses for my c4 cooling lines. I have never done anything with braided line so I need to know what all I need. Should I use -6an hose size? what all fittings will I need? I know this will be more expensive but I want the braided hose.:bigthumb

Screw braided junk, go with steel.

What do you suggest for steel lines? 3/8's?

Usually yes, however the c4 will only support 5/16.

6an braided line worked great for me for the cooling lines on my C4 setup.

You really need to get the tranny up in the car at the correct height to see what fittings will work. You will probably need a 45 or 90 fitting or possibly even a 180 depending how tight the tranny is to the floor.

I typically prefer the 90° fittings because the bends are simple using them.

And your lines are completely insulated so they won't dissipate any heat requiring you to have a larger cooler to get the same cooling capacity.

How long of hose did it take? I was thinking that 2 10ft sections would work.

I bought the largest cooler that I could easily find that would fit in front of my radiator..plus I have a small electric fan on it. Never had any over heating issues with a 4500 stall converter using JD Hyguard in it.
