Just got done changing out the led's in my 07. I'll try to answer them if anyone has any questions about it. Or if its a little out of your league you can get them to me and I can change them.

That's cool. Can't the led be changed to a few different colors from the factory? I thought I read something about that before.

It can if you have the MyColor option. Mine didnt have it though. They are white when the ignition is on and green when the lights are on.

Its not that bad if you have fairly good vision and some soldering experience. I bought the leds off of Ebay. There called a PLCC-2 SMD led. You can get them in different colors. And you can buy the amount you need, you dont need to buy a 100 or more unless you need them. The leds brightness is measured in mn's. You want to stay 300-600mn. I think I have some 700mn in mine, but they start to get a little too bright compared to everything else. The hardest part of most of it is getting the switches about without breaking them. The gauge cluster is also difficult to figure out. And dont wast your time buying the kit they have on ebay for that. Its the same leds for more money and the instructions suck. Had to figure it out on my own. Hope that helps.
If you can get the parts to me I have time right now to work on them.

Ok, just keep in mind that you wont be able to change the color of the lcd display on the radio. Unless you can change the green plastic cover over to another color.
