Heres the scoop. I bought a 93 5.0 5 speed hatchback roller today. The engine bay is empty. I have a 2.3 hactchback that is a 5 speed that has everything I need for the new car. I hate turning a 5.0 into a 2.3 but being able to just change everything over is within my abilities. I forgot to mention there is a 289 carbed motor sitiing in it and not hooked up to nothing. I'm just trying to decide what to do.

what is the 289 sitting in? kind of confused me as to what is going on. If the 289 is in the 93,finish it up, or put the 289 in the 93.

Yea your right. The 289 is actually sitting in the 5.0 but not hooked up to nothing. I guess the problem is I'm not sure I have the ability to do it'

I'm in the same boat...don't know if I have the ability to what I need to do to my car either. It's all about learning as you go. I say go for it, there are alot of guys on here to help along the way! Good Luck

Just ask more questions. Mustang people love to help each other. There is lots of examples of builds for fox mustangs to help you along. What do you plan to use the car for? Is it going to be a daily driver, or just a toy?
