I have started to gather the things I need to run a 347 in my 02 gt. I am going to be selling off all my mod motor stuff including the transmition. The reason for doing the swap is I have always loved a cammed 347 with good compresion and a gear drive and want it in this body style. Also another determing reason for doing the swap now is I have low compression on cylinder number 5 believe it is a ring. Hopeing to sell my motor to someone wanting to do a pi swap as it would be great for that. Sorry for getting side tracked but the plans for the motor is a scar 347 with around 10.5 compression and a trickflow stage 2 cam with a pete jackson gear drive. I do not know what heads intake or carb yet tho. If you have any imput I am more than open to here a good set up as long as your not going to try and talk me out of my prodject.
Thanks
Lee

Thanks man, thats what I was going for my two favs put togather lol. And luck I will need it seems rather straight forward using a tubular k member. Just with I had like a 99 gt so I would not have to buy a tranny but only a bell housing lol.

the p/j gear drive will eat the snout of the crank without a doubt,if you must have one go with a single idler like the milodon and it wont.

Heck if you don't have the money for a tubular k-member and wanna get the car to be straight forward as possble, got get a stock k-member out of a 94-95 gt....its the same as what's in your car minus the 302 motor pads...good luck brother
