My friend just had a powerdyne installed and now he needs a blow off valve. What do you recommend. It is only a bd11a on a stock 302. Anyone have any for sale?
Thanks,
Rodney

The TiAl 50mm is a nice unit and comes in a variety of colors. its a nice o-ringed V-band flange and comes with your choice of aluminum and stainless weld on flange.

blow off valve ?? or bypass valve ?? Is it a blow through or draw through set up??

Bosch makes a nice bypass valve if your under 15 lbs boost:

You can find them way cheaper than that though.

just use a bypass or he is going to have to get a blow thru meter and put it between the s/c and tb. if he puts a blow off valve he is going to have to mount them in this order s/c, b.o.v, meter then throttle body and i know there isnt alot of room to do it because i was going to try it with the novi1000 i had.

Well looks like he will just have cincy speed take care of it all. We are dropping the car off on Monday morning for a chip/tune. Since I have never had a forced induction setup on any of my stangs I know nothing about it. Thanks for the input though.

This is what I run with my Novi 1000. Late nineties and up(not sure of the cutoff) VW 1.8 turbo uses this same valve, so you could try the dealership or import parts places.

Just got the car back from Cincy speed. It put down 301 to the wheels and about 335 tq. Not too bad with just stock motor with a Trickflow intake and powerdyne bd11a.

30lb injectors, with a shitty stock mass air meter that I had to put the matching calibrated sensor into. The Pro m 76mm mass air he bought off a guy was cracked in the mail.
