I actually find mpg increases around town with 3.73's and very little loss on the highway. 4.10's will show more loss, especially on the highway. Optimum cruising speed with 4.10's is about 50-55mph for economy. With 3.73's it is 55-60. If you hardly ever use the highway go 4.10's if the highway is common go 3.73's

I went with 3:73's in my 96 gt and loved it. It was a big difference than my 3:08 gear. It's a good gear for belt driven (roots or centrifical)boost as well. If going turbo, leave your gear alone. Stock gear for a 02 is usually a 3:27 Gear. Hope this helps.

I had 373 in my 03gt and it would grab 3rd and I could wind it up in 3rd on the highway and still had fun in 4th. 5th was more a cruising gear and I got pretty darn good mpg. For some reason I like 410 in a fox a bit better but 373 on the new edge was always my favorite.

Yea I think I'm gong to like them a lot 5th gear is such a dog I can't wait to get 373s put in
