Just seen this on RJ... Guess he has pulled it apart and is selling as a roller. Such a nice car to be parted IMO..

You guys don't know what happened. He was messing with something and left the meth un hooked and it broke some pistons. Now why he's selling the roller I don't get because as far as I know he had the engine fixed. I'm sure he was sick to have the car two days and blow it up but that happens when you don't really know what you have. He's had several single digit race cars but nothing like this cobra

I understand he may have broke it, but why not fix it and throw it back together??? Id be sick too! Either way it sucks!

I'm not sure. He took the motor to have it fixed a few months ago. I'm not sure what the deal is. Maybe the engine builder is dragging his feet

He was going to put it in a lighter car but decided not to. He called last week... the motor is back in and running, so its no longer for.

Damn I didnt mean to open a can of worms or anything. Just thought it was unusual for someone to buy it then start splitting it up.

Lol really? I already knew what was up before this post. Soooo, After it was posted id thought id leave my opinion on the deal. So y buy a 15K car to pull it and put it into another,lighter car? Y not just buy a built engine for half the price and put it in whatever pooper u would feel like? As far as me calling him names, It is what it is. TOOL is not as bad as some other ones i can think of. It is his car he bought it, He can do with it how he feels. But my opinion on the deal is the same. Sorry if i hurt ur feeling or his :flipoff: Gald its satying together tho. Super nice car, Has alot of time and money in it. I would just hate for it to get parted!!!!

Well I seen that on RJ and then on YB I seen he was wanting to trade the blower and some other stuff for a turbo kit. Just found it unusual... Sorry if I ruffled anyones feathers!!

I was getting bored with all the changes:lol:

I actually was going to sell it as a roller and put the motor in a coupe and see if I could get a 8 out of it.

Tim's a great guy and learned the hard way about blower cars and how important meth is on a kennebell. It wasn't 2 days either:lol: Hopefully we will being seeing it at the track again soon.

He even said I could make a few passes in it:eek:

Well Im glad to see that he is keeping it together. Always a nice car and I love watching the videos of it. Seems like he is just like the rest of us! Ive parted my share of them and Im sure Ill do more! Hope he gets it all squared away and gets it back to running good again.
