Thinking about painting my car. It's a 95 GT vert. The top and interior are both tan. Any one have any ideas? It is currently green. Looking to go with something different. Not too keen on black or white and not too sure what other colors would look ok with the tan.

I'd go with a color like a dark blue or a darker red like redfire.

Looks like Laser red, which if I am not mistaken is the old color version of the new Redfire. Thats what I like with tan.

It's a color from '97 called "autumn orange" and the more pics I see of stangs with that color, the more I like it... I think I may have found the color!

Good looking color I think. Maybe under different light or different angle it would show better. I think you hit the mark!

Yeah thats definitely a deceiving color in some photos. I like it though, here is a little better pic of it.

Beautiful color! I thought I knew every color that has been on a mustang from the 90's and up....well I was wrong!

Whatever you do I mean whatever you do you better not paint it black with flames and skulls because you may be labeled a copy cat! LOL:screwy:
Really I like the autumn orange!

Autumn orange is awesome. It is a very rare color as well. There were only 1519 made in 1997. I've only seen one in person. Only Bright Tangerine (1996) and Aztec Gold (1997) are more rare on 94-98 Mustangs.

Now I just need to get all the other stuff done so I can get to the paint!

Agreed on either color. I almost bought an edge body GT convert. dk blue w tan. Looked very nice. Redfirepearl met. also works with the tan. Come to thnk of it I have seen an older hotrod or two that were a bright lime green sort of that had tan top/interior that looked very well together as well.
