Man...i have gotta get my ass out of apartment living, i don't care if i have to park a fuckin camper in the woods. We've been lucky, most of our building is empty and we live on the bottom of 2 floors and nobody has lived above us for a long time, and the people who did were very courteous and respectful.
Now these new assholes move in, who apparently aren't aware that if you walk your 400lb ass across the floor with boots on without a care in the world, it sounds like the fucking sky is falling down on me. On top of that they have 3 fucking kids (don't get me wrong i love kids) who RUN around all fucking day, and i work 3rd shift. As if that wasn't enough, they have a huge fucking dog who spent the better half of to day BARKING HIS HEAD OFF while they were gone.
 << See that? I look just like that. Bald head, red faced, frown and all. I'm fucking pissed. We never play loud music, we don't sit out front and get in everyone business. We're not out revving our cars up late at night. We're about the best damn neighbors you could ask for, most of the time you wouldn't even know we live here. Why am i cursed to have these fucking elephants living above me? They moved in a couple weeks ago and i don't think they've decided where to move the furniture yet because every damn day it's like they're picking up the couch and dropping the damn thing over and over and over.
I swear, if it's not the GD golfers across the street, it's a fucking circus above me. My only saving grace is i have family living in the apartment right next to me so i'm not totally surrounded by aggravation.
So...just a public service announcement...if you live in an apartment on the 2nd or 3rd floors, please be thoughtful about those who are below you...try to walk softly when you can. Remember that some of us are doomed to a life of 3rd shift and while you're up moving your damned couch and walking around in cowboy boots, i'm down under you trying to sleep.

I lived on the 3rd floor for years when i was younger...we didn't walk with shoes on, we didn't do gymnastics or MMA on the floor, we didn't do jumping jacks. Some of this shit almost sounds like it's on purpose, like they're dropping free weights on the floor. I'm talkin about thuds so loud it makes you jump.

yep had a 300 plus lb lady that lived above us at the famous eastgate woods that did the same thing and for some ODD reason at 3:20 am she would vaccuum her floor.

I had some Messycans living above me, back in '01. They loved the latino music. Sounded like bad polka music.
One day, I CRANKED some Krankenstein (Krush, Kill, Destroy) And went to take a shower.
That was the last time they pulled that shit.
I gave up appt living a long time ago. After watching one appt catch fire and take out every one elses appt. I had a dumb fuck grilling on his porch and when he was done and he thought the coals were cool he dumped them into a fucking card board box..????? Well they burnt through the bow, through his deck and fell onto my decl?? He was banging on the door at like 3am letting us know to put it out. FUCK
We found the next best thing to an appt. We found a duplex. So now I am in mason in a big freaking house that I have half of. we dont hear the neighbors to often. I have 3 bedrooms and a huge 2 and a half car garage. No banging from above and no fucking boxes of flame falling onto my raggidy ass deck.
Find a duplex or a small house. Usually cost about the same and so much less drama.

Trailer parked in the woods or a quiet mobile home park that is mostly older/retired folks.

parked on some land would be quiet but a park thats quiet now doesnt mean it will always be quiet. That and working for rent a center for a year I saw plenty of trailer parks and roaches migrate.. lol hell with living in a park unless its in florida

The park I'm speaking of has been quiet for most of 45 years.
Only one drug bust and the recent child abuse case.
Nestled in Madeira, near Kenwood and Indian Hill.

Eh, i'm over it. I'm sure nobody living here wants to live here. I just wish people put some thought into what they're doing and were considerate of other people, but i guess you'll have that. It'll be revenge time when my car is back on the street and i crack it open at 3am on one of my off nights and let it idle and lope and shake the dishes in their kitchen.
Screw apartments. The only apartment I've ever lived in that was worth it was in Mt. Adams, and even then I had to listen to annoying neighbors and drunk douchbags wandering the streets. Every place I lived in Clifton sucked balls.
Out in the sticks you should be able to rent a small house for not much more that you're paying for an apartment in one of those developments. Hell, I was only paying $750/month for a pretty nice little (800sq. ft) cape cod in Oakley before we bought our current place.

lmao I remember the first night you ever did that when I moved in me and my brother both jumped up and went outside to see what freakn crotch rocket was doing laps around the parking lot, only to see you pulling back in lol.... I do feel your pain though D especially living there...... we've never been happier to move from a place ever as we were with that place, between the managment, the kids all over our cars, the golf balls and I even play golf, but all the cops that are back there all the time and all the bs going on it's just not worth it..........

Yeah that was it..it was someone off here, whoever it was that bought my engine. They wanted to see it run and see if it really had 12s in it so i took the kid around the block and when we got back his buddy said you guys were talking shit. I didnt think much of it really.
What was funnier than that was the first time you came over with your dog and he jumped in my lap and over my seats and got in like YAY CAR RIDE!! Lol. Ive been attacked by dogs before so im always real cautious around dogs i dont know...you didnt see it but my Spyderco was opened and tucked under my leg the whole time lol. He caught me off guard but he was a big baby.
