Marauder, Dustin Broach, bought them. I gave him a KILLER deal for all of them. He paid via Paypal and all was good. I offered to deliver the parts since my wife was going to be very close to where he lives, and he would get the parts the very next day. Well if any of you have a wife, you know their plans typically changes on a whim. She didn't go so I called him and said I'll be down Monday. (He bought the parts Thursday night)

I get a PM from him basically telling me that he is put out for having to wait for the parts for so long. It's been 3 days at this point, and the parts will be delivered on Monday. So I told him that my wife didn't go and he'll have them Monday, and that he got a killer deal and if he wasn't happy with how the transaction was going that I would refund his money. So he said ok, refund my money. That was Sunday.

So today (Monday) I log in to Paypal to refund his money. He opened a dispute against me! :mad: Are you fucking kidding me??!!!!!

I have bought and sold a lot of things online and it's guys like Marauder, Dustin Broach that give it a bad name. You can ask ANYONE who I have dealt with, and I'm 100% they will vouch for my name. I'm on a lot of other boards, under the same name, and you can see my trader rating. I'll be damned if I'm going to have this guy come into my life and shit all over everything I have build.

Yes the shifter is for a T-45, and I'm 99% sure thats what is in a 98 GT.

Maybe I deserve that comment. There may be a delay in paypal, but the email notification of this refund was just sent. Money has been returned as of about 5 minutes ago.

Without knowing you personally, the only thing I can go by is what you tell me. There really was no sense in going as far as giving my information out like you did, the vulgarity, etc... but all things considered you must see it from my end. I paid for the parts Thursday morning. They should've been in the mail Friday, but we made an agreement for them to be brought over the weekend which would've saved time and allowed me to get them put on as soon as possible. I had time set aside Sunday evening for the parts, changing all my plans expecting the parts this weekend. When they didn't arrive, I ask for them to be shipped because I do not have the time through the week to be running around chasing parts, and I don't like the idea of them being left on my porch, etc...there are a lot of kids in the neighborhood. Reading back, maybe I sounded like a prick when asking you to just ship them out...I apologize for that but I had 3 people waiting on me to put them on who had canceled plans so we could get it knocked out in a couple hours.

I've dealt with the "I'll bring it tomorrow" in the past before and it burned my ass financially... and at the point you got vulgar it was pretty much a repeat of that scenario. This can pretty much can be filed as a miscommunication between parties. My apologies, and I'm sure you're a great person to deal with in face to face transactions where money is exchanged for parts at the point of sale. The only thing I can suggest is be up front before you collect payment for items shipped that you'd rather deliver them in person.

Maybe you rate me negatively from this transaction, and I'm fine with that. If a seller can't hold their agreement they can expect the same from me and I operate knowing the same when I make agreements to sell and ship items as well. If I quote prices for things shipped, they're sitting in a box ready to hit the parcel in the morning (or same day if I can get it there before it closes). I'm not going to ask for more money to ship the parts then send them with a friend or family member that may be going down today...tomorrow...the next day... I think it is cool as hell you were willing to do that for me had you actually done it, and up to the point of the "I'm doing you a fucking favor" comment, to save $140 off retail I was ok with everything. Not sure how me paying for the parts to be shipped, then having to drive 30 minutes each way to pick them up (granted you drove them from up north) is doing me a favor. Just saying...

The paypal dispute is a matter of asset protection, nothing personal and since it is now resolved it does not have any impact on your seller reputation. I wouldn't defame you, not sure why you chose to do the same to me. I'm not sure how this could've went any better other than maybe you not having such a short fuse. Maybe we both just happened to hit the alignment of stars on our periods or whatever at the same damn time, and this was just a blowup for no good reason.

People can read this and form their own opinions on both parties.

Look guys, I would really not like to make this a me or him situation. Everything prior to the mix-up Mark was very professional. I can see why he is pissed to a point. Seeing that he has this many people back him was part of the reason I paid so quick and without hesitation...

It boils down to a misunderstanding, and hopefully this mess will be over and the people that bombed my number realize that I'm not a prick. I'm sure noone else would want their private information put on blast either. It is what it is. I wanted the parts for this coming weekend, but sped up my plans for this weekend expecting that to happen. When that didn't, I wanted the parts to be shipped and obviously looking back I was a bit blunt with the request. I am deeply regretful for the way I asked for the items to be shipped. I can order the same parts from AmericanMuscle and they'll be here in 2-3 business days FREE, so the reason for wanting my money back was to avoid the drama and gurantee I had parts in by this coming weekend so that I can get a few more good rides in before I put it up for hibernation. Normally I'm the most patient person in deals, hell I paid Jim $100 more to deliver his mustang to me when I bought it (a 35 minute drive) because I felt he had the price a bit low for the car's condition.

In the end, if there are no hard feelings, I'd gladly deal with Mark in the future if he can see my point in the issue. If not, I completely understand. At the end of the day I'm not trying to make him out to be a bad seller and I hope noone takes away from this that thought...

Mark is an awesome guy to deal with! I sold him a tool box and he wasnt even in this country at the time and it went smooth as hell! I know I dont know all the details and its not really any of my business but like whats been said, you would`nt have got them any sooner if they was shipped. He is a stand up guy and well know across the boards. Some of us who have sold many parts and such use positive feedback as a selling point. We dont want it scarred by some nonsense!

Why offer a refund, then blow up when someone takes you up on it? I'm being made out to be a prick here, and really noone here is at fault. This is just a blowup that should've been handled via a phone call or through the avenue that I had opened via paypal dispute. Disputes in paypal are just a way for the buyer to communicate with the seller, at which point if the needs are not met, a claim can be opened and they will proceed with that. It's a way to protect yourself from fraud. I'm being cussed, harassed via phone thanks to my information being posted, etc...over what? Someone OFFERING to refund my money and I take them up on it? People make mistakes, we're all human...I can let an issue go I'd hope based on this reputation Mark could do the same.

I was annoyed with your PM Sunday, but it wasn't a big deal. I wasn't cursing AT you, but more of an adjective. I curse a lot. When I offered you a refund I was serious about it. The fact that you said refund your money then, was fine with me. I was just kinda annoyed that I had already closed all of my for sale ads and had to go back on them.

The ONLY reason I called you out publicly is because you opened a claim against me on Paypal. I use Paypal A LOT and was pissed that you scarred my account the way you did.

I wish things would have gone differently but they didn't. Oh well life goes on. No hard feelings on my end.
