FS/FT 1999 Contour SVT

Selling a 99 Contour SVT for my step brother. Its silver with dark blue interior with around 125K I think. The drivers door skin and fender were replaced after someone side swiped it while parked. This was done by the previous owner. The car does have some rust but not horrible. Car does come with 2 spare SVT wheels with snow tires on them. It is a great DD. The car has the following done

New fuel filter
New plugs and wires
Newer brakes and fluid
New drivers wheel bearing
New serp belt
A/C recharged
New HID headlights
Newer clutch and flywheel
Good tires

This car has not been modded engine wise. Still the stock exhaust,intake and suspension. Rides pretty nice for being factory lowered. The car handles great. Has good pep for a V6. It’s a great car but he is looking to get into a mustang. He is willing to look at trades for auto 96+ GTs. He likes the style of them. Otherwise its listed at $3,200obo Depending on the car he may do trade + cash. PM me or post up if interested. I can answer most of the questions or get an answer from him. They are great cars. I owned a 2000 silver frost one for about 7 years. I did alot of mods to mine culminating with an intercooled T3/T4 turbo kit. It made 298 fwhp at 10# of boost. It was a sleeper for sure, would pull on alot of cars from a roll. He may want to put it up on www.contour.org. It's the Contour Enthusiast Group. I'm along time member. My screen name is in reference to the SVT. My old one is for sale with turbo and ALOT of mods for 5k, his price may be a little high. That is just my experience with the market for them. I just bought a Ranger Splash as a DD..or I woulda looked at it.

I'm actually on contour.org but don't meet their rules to sell yet. Price is obo since he didn't know where exactly to put it. Plus with modified like your was that does tend to shy away some people not knowing how the car was taken care of or put together.

clean title?hows the interior?any grinds in transmission or popping out of gear?how well was it fixed when side swiped?

the 98.5 or early 99s didnt usually have the common 3rd gear rake, it usually is found in the late 99 or 2000 models

yes clean title. interior is nice. rear door panels has some stuff on it but haven't tried to clean it yet. seats are in good condition. no grinds in the tranny. Stays in every gear you put it in. guy said they put a another fender on and then did a skin on the door. not sure if they did or just replaced it. I'm not a very good body man to judge. panels seem to align pretty good

Jack/Bob..He bought a 350Z and is selling for what he owes on it. I did all work to it, I put 4k in the turbo kit. I owned it for 7 years and sold it to get the Saleen. They are great cars, quick and handle like go-carts. Good luck with sale.

now says he may do a 94+ stang. he didn't realize the tail lights were an easy swap lol this is an obo people great running DD car with snow tires mounted on some rims ready to be put on. also have a parts car that can go with it for the right price/trade. has a set of wheels on it, tan interior,good doors, front bumper, eibach springs

if he has some cash to go with the car i may be able to put him in a 5spd fox v8 car, pm me for details, it wont be ready for another week or two. I just picked it up friday and have another weeks worth the work to do to it.
