Been at the hospital all weekend with my 14 year old daughter. Took a full on soccer kick to the abdomen in a game Saturday. Never a good thing for a girl. Surgery went well, hopefully getting out of here soon.

That sucks! I spent a weekend a couple months ago with my 2 year old, broken leg femur at that full body cast.

Thanks again for all of your thoughts and prayers. She is at home resting comfortably, with the help of some percs....LOL

It gets scary when they start talking about your daughters "reproductive health"....not something I want to think about when she is 14, but I do want to be a grandpap someday.

Minor setback today. Back at Childrens again. Hopefully just an overnight. She seems much better this evening. They told us all of her reproductive stuff looked fine. I hope so, it doesn't take much to cause issues later on in life.

She is doing much better. Finally got home (again) yesterday afternoon. Resting at her mom's. No soccer for 4-6 weeks though. Thanks so much for everyone's concern. Meant a lot to me and her.

glad she is back with family at least. hopefully she takes it easy for awhile and heels up enough to get back out there.
