B.E.S built 347

B.E.S built 347 that is setup for nos.
this motor wasn't cheap to build but i'm wanting to build another motor for a different class. it doesn't smoke, had great oil pressure and never ran hot. this motor with a set of victor juniors and a parker funnel web and a 750 carb in a 3,000lb mustang with a jerico went 10.50's @ 130 mph on the motor. it has some 40's or high 30's in it with more time and another carb.
stock block 11.5 to 1 compression
valley girdle and main girdle
the block is oringed
4340 crank and rods
aftermarket pan
all arp bolts through the motor
arp head studs
0 balanced with a high dollar balancer
custom ground solid roller cam
ross flat top piston
timing cover
will through in a set of harland sharp rocker arms and comp cams chromemoly pushrods that was in it.
this is the shortblock only.can be bought with a ported,polished parker funnel intake and a set of ported victor jr that was on it for extra $$$.all port work from BES. The motor was never sprayed and will easily go 9's on the spray. made 545hp on performance motor clinic's dyno. again this thing is no joke for a stock block. x-mas special $1700 obo with no intake or heads. drive it to the race track and run in the 10's and drive it home easy cause i did.mfoss can vouch for it.
buy a dart block if you want and put the rotating assembly in it for about $3000-$3500 and run in the 8's no problem or leave it alone and have a 9 second motor and it can handle it. if it doesn't sell i'll keep it and use it as a back up motor.:D
