I am currently building a coupe, http://www.stangbangerz.com/forums/showthread.php?t=60154
Plan to paint soon and put it back on the ground and will be needing something better than a stock T5, that I currently have sitting here.

I called them yesterday. The guy told me that the Head sales person was at the PRI show and to call back Monday.

For what it cost to put a synchronized G Force T5 in a car you could put a face plated TKO 500 from liberty.

Astro Performance, G-force, Hanlon, Liberty all make upgraded T-5's. If your gonna drive it on the street often then I would stay away from the face plated stuff. The upgraded 26 spline input shaft is a must. How much HP are you going to be pushing? I love mine for the strip.

Bought the motor from Chad393 and he listed it as "XXX Roller made 240 rwhp with headers/exhaust/1.7 rockers being the only mods" had stock heads. I have new GT40P heads and plan to use a wild cam with 3" exhaust and 1.6 rockers.
So, I am not real sure what to expect, HP wise. But this is a track only car, totally stripped down inside and out.

I appreciate all the input from you guys.

Track only then hell yes go with face plated! Cameron has a good point about the TKO....but If you go that route I would have it face plated also.

I have a dog-ringed 2.92 g-force promotion built box, broze forks, cluster support, 9310 shaft, no passes. I would part with it for the right money

when guys send there gfr's back in to g-force to trade them in for a new upgraded box's, you can buy the used one's back from g-force for $4000 to $4500 if they have any in stock. new they was some where of $6000. call and talk to bubba at g-force.
i bought a jerico dr-4 used and love it for $3000. you can find them around all the time, just make sure you don't get the one from a nascar team.
there is a guy on yellowbullet that has a 4-speed liberty that is new for $4000 that is a savings if $3000:eek:. let me know if i can help.

there was a guy on corral that has a new dr-4 for $3500 i believe. something else to think about is if you buy a jerico that was in a chevy, pontiac etc. you can easily just buy a input shaft with any spline and bearing retainer for you stang for $250 and change it in about 30 minutes. dr-4's are good for 1000-1200hp.
