i made a 1 1/2 spacer for my cobra intake. So the question is how much is to much for the intake when it comes to a intake spacer???

Too much and you'll have issues putting a strut tower brace back on...At least I did when I had my notch. Hell, I think I had hood clearance issues too, so I had to put the cowl back on. I cant remember how big my spacer was though.

Good luck finding bolts. I actually had to make my own. You may have to do the same.

Ordered mine from Fastenal in Florence, KY near intersection of Empire Connector & Weaver. Just measured the stock ones and added 1/2 inch and ordered them. Cost was < $7 for all the bolts (grade 8 if I remember right).

Spacers will lower the rpm range of the intake too.

Shit, in that case let me get rid of my 1" spacer... and hack another 1" off the bottom of my upper intake! :bigthumb

longer runners increase low end torque power and decrese top end. short runners like a single plane, etc. shine in the higher rpms but may lose a little down low

i had to make one out of plastic the wooden one's kept on braking when cutting out the ports. but it came out pretty good. might be making some more later to sell later. Right now the only ones i have right now is the cobra and the holly systemax gasket for a templet .
