I'm fishing for humidifier reviews. My apartment seems to always be extremely dry. Every morning we wake up with raw dried out sinuses and it's wreaking havoc on our health. So, i just bought a Vics humidifier and i'll post some reviews on it once i've used it but i'm curious what others have tried?

I too share your troubles. We have one in each room, not sure of the brand but they have about a half gallon water tank. I say they don't work worth a damn, but a night without them is worse.

I got a Vics one in Rob's room. Has a quiet feature and it works great. Plus it projects stars at night time out the top.

I have a Vick's right now but I am getting ready to buy an AprilAire to throw on my HVAC so the whole house will be taken care of automatically.

This one is pretty quiet. It doesn't have a fan, it's just a vaporizer style humidifier. It steams out the top but you can hear the water simmer but i don't mind that, i can't sleep in total silence anyways. It has the little reservoir for the Vapo Steam stuff. I've got it running in the bedroom right now getting it prepped for bed. I just don't wanna wake up tomorrow hacking blood like usual.

I got this one from Meijer.

Its a bad bitch. Does the whole house. Walmart sells the exact same unit sold under the Sunbeam brand. They got it for 79bux. This unit will run thru 5gal of water in a 24hr period on the low setting.

I may have to step it up and try that one out. The one i bought doesn't seem to be making much of a difference. I did feel a little less like death waking up today but it may have been coincidence or placebo.

Im a little late to the game here, but.......

I bought this one from Sears, its a little more expensive but came highly recommended by several people.

It has multiple settings and seems to work well in my house.
