Need to vent...i'm on lunch and i'm about to fucking snap. This bitch has had it out for me since the day she started. We've been at each other a few times in the 9 months or so she's worked there but tonight takes the cake...thank god i have a witness this time to her fucking lunacy.

Long story short, i found an issue and called her to where i was working to show her. I got one sentence out and she cut me off and started rambling on with some nonsense about how the issue is being dealt with before i could even fully explain it to her, so i said uh no let me show you what i mean. I got about 5 more words out and she says, you need to lower your voice and stop yelling at me. Me and my coworker looked at each other like WTF???

Anyone who's met me...i'm 6 foot 220lbs, i use the big boy voice. If i have something to say, i don't fucking whisper it. I'm a very enthusiastic person and when i'm trying to get my point across i have a big voice. If this bitch was getting yelled at, the first sign would've been the piss down her leg. She would fucking know if i were yelling.

Anyways, i say...uh, i'm not yelling i'm just trying to explain this to you...she keeps on saying stop yelling at me, i look at my buddy again and say am i yelling? Don't i always talk like this? He says yeah he's not yelling at you!? She's still bitching....so i say ya know what, i don't need your help i can deal with this problem on my own go back to what you were doing sorry i bothered you. She just glares at me and says YOU'LL REGRET THAT.

I fucking change bosses and it's like my whole damn job changes. What's crazier is, i have two bosses and the other one knows me and knows the kind of person i am and knows that i'm just an animated person. This bitch has no management skills and doesn't know how to read people. Either that or she has a fucking daddy complex and can't handle men standing up to her or something. I'm so fucking sick of having to take orders from people who know less than me. This bitch has me so stressed out that i'm about to the point i'm going to do something stupid and make some real problems for myself.

+1 on this i do nothing about or mention any ideas or problem i may have, i just show up and collect a check cause there is no incentive to go above and beyond anymore, and definetly no respect for people in general anymore not just at your job, its everywhere you go or anyone you deal with. Gas will be 5 bucks a gallon soon, but peoples pay for basic living is not going up, this sucks but theres nothing anyone can do whether you vote or dont vote, my one vote would never affect anything cause im poor and i can pad anybodys pocket.

I have no problem taking orders. I have no problem with authority. My problem is taking STUPID orders from someone who doesn't know what they're doing. When it's blatantly obvious that your boss is inexperienced and everyone around you can see it, and that person doesn't have control of the crew, i can't work in that environment. The leader in me takes over and i do what i know is the right thing to do and this bitch can't stand that. I question almost everything she tells me to do because she has me running in circles to do the simplest tasks. I've been in this shit business for 15 years. I've forgotten more than she knows.

I was told to wash the breaker boxes for a meat plant. I was told to use a foaming agent and then rinse off with high pressure hot water.

These were 440/3 boxes for some really big motors, like 50-125 hp.

I tried to reason with him, he wouldn't listen. My union steward was standing next to me when he said that if I didn't do as he told me I'd be fired.

Once the water got inside, KABOOM and then it was dark.

After president of the company did some questioning, we never saw him again.

The problem is i'm screwed no matter what i do. Somehow even though i don't make the decisions, i get all the blame for things not getting done. I'm expected to take ownership of a job that i have no control over. I have the experience and knowledge to be successful at this job without a boss whatsoever, and when my other boss is there i can go the entire night without even seeing her face or speaking to her, and my job gets done just fine. I work 100% self motivated and self directed unless this bitch feels the need to stick her nose in my business and impede my productivity which is basically justification for her job. I can't simply play stupid, because it will still come back on me. What's worse is, most of the people on my shift have already made complaints about her, and the head guy apparently sides with her. It's a shitty situation because 1, it cost them more money to replace her than it does to replace me, and 2, they'll never side with a low level employee like me and undermine the authority of a boss like her because then she'll get even less respect. Management has no choice but to support this fucktard. It's either i bust my ass and get the job done knowing at the end of the day this bitch takes credit for my hard work, or i slack off and take the blame and she throws me under the bus.

It's not you that is the problem, it is the economy. Just do what you're told. Are they blaming you, then writing you up for it...or just blaming you? Take the blame, hell I do...they won't do anything about it anyway. I quit suggesting ideas when my managers started taking credit for it while giving me the bitchwork that came from it. EVERYONE is in this situation in one shape or form.

Did you ever think it's a company strategy to hire a complete idiot to manage to increase attrition for the exact reason you are upset? Usually companies looking to "right size" do this. Mine is a perfect example of this. Just stick it out man, it will get better with time we hope.

For the most part i've kept my mouth shut with her lately because it's obvious that we don't like each other and it gets us nowhere. I should've just kept it to myself last night but i felt i was doing the right thing. That's my problem..i have this constant urge to fix problems and make my job as easy as it should be. I feel like, if i don't bring attention to the problems, my job will never get better. I don't have the authority to fix these problems by myself. The simple fact is, my job is easy for the most part but it is made difficult by others who half ass their own jobs and nobody does anything about it. My problem is that when i bring light to these issues, i'm basically calling out the bosses of those people and bringing light to the fact that they're not doing shit about it, which only makes more problems for myself. On top of all that, the head guy knows all these problems exist...he's not stupid, he just doesn't care either. All they want is compliance....shut your mouth and give us the end result.

Try adding your boss is married to her boss, so we both are transferred to another manager who sleeps with the other boss anyway, so it's this weird love triangle of nepotism, discrimination, etc... I don't know how much more I can take, but from what I understand it's the same everywhere so it just depends on what color paint you want to spray on the pile of bullshit I suppose.

Either way, good luck with it. I've learned to go out of my way to make them look better.

Depends on the Job. Look @ the positions available. Assembly positions and stockroom people are entry level jobs. If you can wrench on your car and show up to work your qualified for assembly. If you can put stuff in a box and drive a small box truck (under CDL) you can do the stockroom job. Pretty straightforward stuff. No Job requires a Degree its just preferred for some positions.

They have this weird 6 month rotation for the managers, so they don't get stuck on 3rd shift permanently. I'm sure she's running her mouth to every other manager in the building. My saving grace is that i've already worked with most of the bosses in the store and i have a reputation with them so maybe that'll get me something. It's just a bitch when you try so damn hard to do the right thing and all it does is make problems for you. If i were a half asser i would blend right in and never get grief.

Our little relationSHIT started out with her telling me to half ass a part of my job and i refused to do it and told her if she wanted it done that way she'd have to do it herself. She tried to write me up for insubordination for that and one of the other bosses i've worked with went into the system and deleted the request for a write up LOL. How can you write someone up for refusing to do their job the wrong way anyway?

The biggest problem firing a women is of course she is a women. They might as well give her a huge payout because if they don't the court will. It's easier to get rid of you and keep her. Well, i'm not foolish enough to think i can't be replaced, but i've seen the crop of people they hire and i can say with certainty that replacing my work ethic and level of initiative won't be easy. It literally takes 2 people to do what i do by myself and that's no BS. Well, i've actually done her job before at another company and she knows it...and honestly i did a way better job (and that's coming from a pretty modest guy). I really don't think there's a chance i could take her job per say but i definitely can outshine her if i put my mind to it. I think she feels she has something to prove and she's trying to make an example out of me.

Here's a side story...one of the maintenance guys, he's 63. He got a write up from her for the same "yelling at me" ordeal. He went to the office to ask for help with changing out a bunch of trash cans that can get up to 50lbs. He has a bad heart and has had 3 heart attacks. He told me she gave him the same "stop yelling at me" routine, and he said the same thing "i'm not yelling" and she said shut the door and lock it (office door) and when he did he said "damn" as he was shutting it. She wrote him up for insubordination...though i don't know how he was insubordinate. This is one of the softest spoken, quiet guys i have ever met.
