What is it that compels people to claim they're snowed in when only 3" fell the night before? Seriously, is it that "scary" to drive out today? What did people do when it actually snowed 20 years ago? I'm pretty sure everyone got around just fine without traction control and active stability controllers on their vehicles.

Oh and not to derail but on the pussification note, i wanna shit on Bill Maher's face. He was on Jay Leno last night spouting off about how we shouldn't have the 2nd amendment right to own guns and blames it for the congress shooting ordeal. He went on to say everyone who thinks they need to carry so they can shoot down the bad guy when something like that happens is stupid because they lack the training to act accordingly in that situation.

If I had it my way I would propose a there be a license to get ram bars. If you're not coming or going to work or it's not emergency during rush hour in the snow then I should be aloud to push your scared, traffic causing but off the road. Once the rest of us are home then a truck can come pull you out and you can now take all the time you want. LOL!!!!

I'd much rather deal with people driving 15 in snow than driving 60. I don't fear driving in the snow at all and I get where I am going. I go prepared with chains,shovel,weight,gloves,warm clothes and even a winch most of the time. When I use these things it is usually to get someone else who did not prepare or drive cautiously out. I hear all the time how people prefer fwd in the snow, I drive a 2wd small pickup which everyone thinks is worst. I manage to get through. My truck is a little out of the ordinary, but it is still a 2800 lb rear wheel drive only vehicle with all season tires. Vegas in the rain is the craziest thing I have ever seen.
