The long block is availlable assembled with the comp cams and valve springs and Cloyes Hex Adjust cam gears for $1000

The car will be headed over to Dayton Performance in the next few weeks to begin disassembly so let me know if you are interested in any the parts.

will those comp cams fit stock non pi heads?

Yes and no. They would work with machine work or with special spring retainers.

All 4r's are wide ratio, a standard ratio makes them aode, which also use a smaller yoke. Does the transmission include the converter and flexplate? A buddy of mine needs one for a builder to put into his 97 cougar.

It can include the stock flex plate but its currently got a PI converter that is promised to Jesse (Stangman).

My buddy is waiting for a guy to come pick up a ranger for him and pay him, he told me to offer you $170 for the transmission and flexplate and said he would come pick it up asap.
