That's right folks, here's your chance to own the car of your dreams...the car of everyones' dreams...a 1988 Ford Festiva baby
This BAMF has:
1.3L Mazda B3 series engine
166k, runs like a sewing machine, no smoke no knocking, smooth as silk
4 Speed manual trans
A Vintage '90s JVC cassette deck
Bicycle brake cable modifed manual choke (works like a charm!)
2 almost new 12 inch tires in front, 2 great condition 12 inch tires in back with fresh black paint on the rims
1 new caliper in front and new pads
New master cylinder
Full tune up and oil change within the last 3k miles
Lowered something like 3 inches...it's on its nuts but doesn't scrape anything so far and rides like a GD gocart
Good heat once it warms up
260 AC (if you don't know what that is, you'll find out this summer LOL)
More badassedness than 9 out of 10 guys can handle
This bitchen ride has netted me a best of 36mpg ALL CITY DRIVING so if you drive a lot of highway you can expect around 40mpg easy. Right now because it's freezing ass outside and it's cold natured, warm up and playing with the manual choke has dropped me down to mid 20s, but still all city driving so it would still be in the 30s if you drive a lot of highway.
On a serious note, these cars are pretty damn cool once you drive them. They have a crazy tight turning radius and they're actually pretty quick for what they are. The trans shifts great, the clutch is good, brakes are good...i wouldn't hesitate to drive this car anywhere, i've had it to Dayton and Florence several times from Amelia and it's been my DD for almost a year now. It's awesome in the snow...i've hauled 8 rims/tires in the back...it would be an awesome work/beater gas saver. It needs nothing...get in it and drive it anywhere. It does have a few cracks in the windshield on the driver's side but i look right through them. The rear quarter has some rust, it has plenty of dings and scratches...but hey, for the price and mpg it's a great car.
I need $900 out of this beast or i'm keeping it. That's what i paid for it, and i've put another $400 into it between wheels/brakes/tune up, and the engine runs so damn smooth that i just can't give it away. It'll purr right along with 70mph traffic with no problem whatsoever.
Looks just like this except for having new black paint on the rims and new tires, and it has a black grill now too. Schwinn chopper not included
