I have a 1991 Mustang LX 2.3 4 cylinder automatic for sale or trade. I would prefer to trade for something that gets 30+mpg as my commute is 28 miles each way, each day. I will however sell outright.

Trades I would be interested in are cars like civics, crx's, integra's, etc.

The car has been in the family for several years now. My dad purchased the car for my sister with 112k miles on it and he repainted it for her. She drove the car all throughout high school and college, but bought a 4 door once she had her baby. I then purchased the car from my dad and have been driving it daily since.

Good:
-Lot's of maintenance items performed. New alternator, belts, hoses, engine gaskets and filters
-Transmission was replaced at 112k miles. Shifts great.
-Body is in better shape than most mustangs of this age
-Runs and drives great. It's my daily driver.
-Aftermarket stereo installed with CD player and 10" subwoofer
-Pony wheels were added
-Flowmaster exhaust with factory 5.0 LX tailpipes
-Power locks, windows, cruise control all work.
-Clean title in hand

Bad:
-Has oil pan gasket leak.
-Exhaust has a leak where the exhaust "Y's" off into the dual exhaust
-Headliner needs replaced
-Small rust bubbles on driver side quarter panel lip.
-Passenger side body molding has been cracked. Sister backed into something small

Still got this beast. I washed it over the weekend and forgot how well it actually cleans up. Got a compliment at Blockbuster the other night lol. I thought I had it traded but the trade was beat.

I'd even rock an Escort for a daily!!!

I see around low 20's with mixed driving. I'm on the highway a lot but the problem is that it's in traffic.

I can't even begin to describe how retarded people are. I have had at least 5 calls on this car with people asking whether or not I'm sure it's a 4 cylinder or not, or just thinking it's a 5.0 and not even reading the ad I guess???? Me: "Just to make sure so I'm not wasting your time or mine, you are aware this is a 4 cylinder car correct?". Caller:"But I can see the pipes. You sure it's not a 5.0?" Me: "Positive". Caller: "Ok, thanks anyway....".
