Thinking about switching over my suspension to a coilover setup. What recommendations do you guys have.
Right now I have a PA racing tubular k member with the stock a arms and some cheap 2" drop springs. I hate the feel of it. I want to switch to tubular a arms as well.
As far as the back goes I am also looking to go ahead and switch to tubular as well.

How much are you looking to spend?

I was reading this or last months race pages and Strange has a double adjustable strut for the front now that has an aluminum threaded body that is part of the strut rather than a slip on sleeve like their cheaper stuff is. I always hated that slip on sleeve because it makes so much damn noise. I used duct tape on the body of my single adjustable struts and then slipped the sleeve over to try and get rid of some of the noise. I'm hoping it helps because it sucked before.

Not looking to spend a ton and nothing can be as bad as a set of cheap ass drop springs witout any isolators at all. The car started out as a complete budget build and now that it is running I will start throwing a little cash towards it to make it a nicer ride. It will never be a show car or even a fast car, but something I can take out and just enjoy.
It was a 4cyl car that I swapped a v8 in and have a few mods on, but still the stock long block for now. I only plan on getting a set of gt40p heads (I have the explorer intake on it now) and maybe a different cam and thats about it.

Rodney if you want a good handling and riding spring go with 300lb on the front. I also have 300's on the rear but not coil overs. The rate will be different for those. Very firm great handling but not at all jarring. Btw I also run Strange shocks/struts. Hypercoils are the springs to use as well
